Make Your Own Spa Products

I love making my own soaps, bath bombs, massage oils, lotions, creams and all that kind of stuff. I once made a bunch of this stuff when I was really broke and gave for Christmas presents. It was really fun and everybody was so happy with their presents, best Christmas ever :)
and by far the cheapest ;)

I sometimes go to google to find recipes, but most of the time I don´t know what I want to make. So I like to have something in front of me I can browse. I have one book with a few recipes which is pretty good, but that is in Icelandic so most of you can´t benefit from it ;) but I also bought an ebook which is really good and I definetly recommend. It has about 130 step by step recipes and I simply love it! It has a real variaty of products to make and gives you endless possibilites. It is called The Handcrafter's Companion. You can click on the link to get to the info page :)

I also purchased a book I really enjoy reading and use a lot to look things up. The book is Aromatherapy for Dummies. The for Dummies books are so good, everything is so well explained and really cool set up. I use a lot of essential oils and this book is a really good guide if you do that. I really recommend it also if you like making your own spa products.

I want to share with you my favourite recipe for a massage oil, really relaxing

15 ml Rice Bran Carrier oil
15 ml Grapeseed Carries oil
7 drops Bergamot essential oil
8 drops Lavender essential oil

Hope you enjoyed this post, good luck making your own spa products! :)
